Mission Statement

Design, create and manufacture handmade jewelry under the brand name Blissriver for sale to both wholesale and retail customers.
Develop and implement jewelry arts as earrings, necklaces, bracelets and similar items to thrill and satisfy our customers in glee at how much they love wearing our designs.

We strive to bring a refined style to the designs we create.  From the gemstone selections to the metal fabrication, we strive for simple elegance and build family heirlooms to be passed to the next generation.

Our Story

My love for gold started on a gold panning trip near the town of Grass Valley, California on the Yuba River.  I have many fond memories of the area and it has become my Blissriver!  Soon after I attended the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) graduating with both GG (Graduate Gemologist) and JA (Jewelry Arts) certificates.

After graduation I worked as a bench jeweler in Beverly Hills, CA for Hoffman & Sons Jewelers after working that job for a while, I went back to school and became a software developer for my second career.

I always kept jewelry making on the backburner making custom pieces on the side as a hobby, such as necklaces out of Fire Agate from Oatman, Arizona, where I also seek stones rock-hounding.

Currently I am venturing into a new series of designs based on the Blissriver Logo using cabochons and set gemstones.
